Thank you for visiting!

Hello, I’m Redge.  The mom behind Nanaygin.  I’m a computer programmer by education, an online marketer by profession, an all-around DIY-er at heart, and a crazy mother by nature.

In 2010, life in the corporate world became too stressful for me and my kids, so I decided to quit and embark in the world of work-from-home. It took me a year before I found a full-time, home-based job, but it was worth the wait.  It gave me the opportunity to continue earning while being close to my family.

I’m married to a street-smart ex-troublemaker who I consider my savior and the only person who knows the real me: the good, the bad and the crazy. We’ve been together for 18 years (married for 14) and are happily raising 2 kids – K (11) and T (9).

A Proud Pilipina Mom Blogger

It’s been ten years since I started blogging (on and off) about my adventures and misadventures in the mom-universe.  My first blog was all about being a new mom while expecting a second child.  I love how blogging had help me connect with other mom both near and far.  And it even help me land a job in an SEO company 3 years later.  Then life got busy and the writing had to be put off.  It took me years to decide whether to continue with my old blogs or start anew. But after several revival attempts and design tweaks, I’ve finally decided to let go and start all over again.

Same Name New Chapters

This particular blog has been around for four years, but I decided to take down all the old posts and begin a new chapter.  It’s a long overdue de-cluttering, and while I did attempt to do some updating and tweaks, it seems best to just start with a clean slate.  It’s actually very timely since we’re about to enter a new phase in our life – homeschooling.  Join me and my family as we discover our own style of learning – not from books and test but in our daily life.
